   The Definition of Network
   Computer Network or it can be called as "Network" is a group of two or more computers with the complement equipment that connects and there may be data transition (transmission) and information.
   
   Why is Network needed?Because of some reasons :
   
   • It can do data transition and information
   • It can communicate on line and off line
   • Don't waste big budget, it can be seen from some equipment
   • Easier and faster of data transition (transmission) and information
   
   Some Kinds of Network
   • Based on the hole of the area : LAN, MAN, WAN
   • Based on the role and the relationship of each computer : client-server and peer to peer
   • Based on data media transition (transmission) : Cable and Non cable
   
   LAN (Local Area Network)
   • Is a computer Network that has a limited area, e.g, office building like computer laboratory and "Warnet"
   
   MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)
   
   • Is a network that is the developing of LAN and it has bigger area like a town in provinces.
     E.g, Bank Network (ATM)
   
   WAN (Wide Area Network)
   • Is a network that has a very wide area like in some countries or continent E.g. Telecommunication Network
   
   Based on the role and the relationship of each computer : client-server and peer to peer
   • Client-Server Network
     In this network, a computer is as a server and there is also a client (workstation)
     E.g. Computer laboratory, "Warnet"
   • Peer to Peer Network
     Peer to peer network is a network that does not need the server as the operator of client, because all computer can be as server and client
     E.g Network in an office
   
   
   • Cable Network
     using cables as the transition (transmission)
   • Non Cable Network (Wirelles)
